This means that the sensor will output an analog voltage signal proportional to the power supply, i.e. a ratiometric signal. Therefore, if an analog signal of 0 to 10Vdc is desired at its output, that is, at pin 2, a 10Vdc power supply between pins 1 and 3. If the signal is inverted in the application, simply reverse the wires connected to pins 1 and 3, respectively.
